Scribus - Open Source desktop publishing

It can also export Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

OpenDisc - high quality open source software for windows

OpenDisc is a high qualiy collection of open source software (OSS) for the Microsoft Windows operating system.

The two main goals of the project are:

To provide a free alternative to costly software, with equal or often better quality equivalents to proprietary, shareware or freeware software for Microsoft Windows.
To educate users of Linux as an operating system for home, business and educational use.The majority of programs featured on OpenDisc are also available on Linux.

NOTE: The download process isn't as straightforward as the other freeware on this site - you need to burn the download to disc as an ISO file - here’s how to do it:

1. Download and install InfraRecorder
2. Run InfraRecorder.
3. Select Actions from the menu, and choose Burn Image.
4. Find where you downloaded the OpenDisc ISO, and select it.
5. Follow the prompts.
