  EniG

EniG Chemistry Assistant is an expression calculator for fast calculation molecular weight of compounds by simple entry of chemical formula, and replaces the element symbols with their atomic weight. Program translates the texts with chemical element symbols or without them into a mathematical expression and calculates them. The program includes functions for statistical analysis, solving the quadratic equation, physical constants, and prepare solution calculator.

  Satscape

Satscape is a freeware Satellite tracking program that uses mathimatical equations to accuarately predict the position of any satellite in orbit around the earth, or predict to the nearest second when a satellite will pass over your location.

There are about 8000+ satellites in orbit, a lot of these are just junk and debris such as discarded rocket bodies, but quite a few are working Satellites.
Their positions can be calculated very accurately using pure maths. Satscape will present their positions in a nice graphical way. 'Passes' over your part of the world can be predicted weeks in advance in a matter of seconds. You don't have to use or have access to the satellites, as it will even predict when the 150 'Brightest' satellites pass over, so you can SEE them!

Satscape can track 100's of satellites simultaneously, with various graphically rich Map Views with ground tracks and footprints, an Horizon view, tabular list and very impressive 3D view. It's highly graphical, and has optional speech to announce satellites as they come into range.

  EMANIM
EMANIM is an application for visualizing electromagnetic waves. Its main features are:

* Live, three-dimensional presentation
* Interactive rotation and zooming with the mouse
* Continuous animation of wave propagation
* Any or both of two waves and optionally their superposition can be displayed
* Vectors of the electric field are shown at two planes intersecting the path of the light
* Wave parameters such as type of polarization, wavelength, amplitude and phase difference can be interactively varied
* To visualize the interaction of light and matter, a piece of material can be placed into the path of the light
* Properties of this piece of material such as length, extinction coefficients and indices of refraction can be interactively varied
* User-configurable colors

  The schools.ik.org service

The schools.ik.org service currently provides aproximately 5,000 schools with websites. Each month many new schools are discovering the power of the service.

schools.ik.org is a unique service owned and operated by Recipero Limited, it offers every UK school a free, self-editable website.

The powerful software, which is usually sold to businesses, has been developed by Recipero (formerly ik Software). Through the schools.ik.org service it has been made available to education users, allowing complete novices to build and edit websites directly through their internet browser.

In 2001, BT partnered with Recipero in the provision of the schools.ik.org service, capitalising on their vast network of Vounteers to help provide the service to the UK's schools. BT provide their support through their Social Policy initiative, BT Betterworld.
